From Singapore General Hospital to International Headquarters
GuShengTang's Singapore presence traces its roots to Baozhong Tang, a TCM clinic that began operations at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) in November 2007 — embedding Chinese medicine within one of Asia's premier biomedical institutions from the outset. GuShengTang acquired Baozhong Tang in 2023, inheriting both its clinical heritage and its position at the heart of Singapore's healthcare system.
The clinic has been based at Novena Specialist Centre within Health City Novena since 2013 — a landmark healthcare hub co-developed by Singapore's Ministry of Health, the National Healthcare Group, and Tan Tock Seng Hospital. By March 2025, GuShengTang formalised its strategic commitment to the region by establishing its Overseas Development Headquarters in Singapore, making the city-state the operational and strategic centre for all international expansion.
Quality in TCM begins with the physician and extends to every herb dispensed. Our practitioners are recruited and evaluated against GuShengTang's national clinical standards.
Our herbs are sourced through GuShengTang's centralised procurement and quality assurance system, sharing the same supply chain with centers across China, ensuring traceable sources, stable quality, and compliance with standards.
